And so life goes on...

We had our monthly inventory today and at the end of it, we had our meeting. As usual, there was another letter to be answered--incident report. That is one of the hang-ups of working in an institution like this, but anyway, I'm used to writing letters, explaining why.

My Excuse

my 5-day vacation is over. I enjoyed it but still, there were things unplanned that came up.

Smallville

What's with Smallville?

I found out that one of our supervisors is also into smallville, considering she's around 40 to 50. I am not the only one at work who is into it pala. Marami kami. :)

Straining

I can't really see clearly...too much time spent facing the computer. i swear, if I accidentally come across a roped area (tama ba?) along main, I would surely trip.

I'm so into smallville still...i bought dvd copies of season 2 to 5. I already watched season 1 courtesy of my cousin Leng and Raymond bought season 6 last weekend.

Tomorrow sould be my "moment of truth". I cannot wait any longer.

ARK

I watched Evan Almighty this weekend and the lesson in that movie was the "Act of Random Kindness" in order to change the world. And today's reading on the Daily Bread is about kindness, too. People may think I'm bitchy, and mean. But the truth is, I have a lot of kindness in my heart. And today, I tried to show some kindness to those around me. Meaning, I became a little kind to my customers. Although, I can't really avoid talking loud, but that's only because of the noise around us.

I also had a dream about having second chance at life. i thank God for the every day of my life.

The Difference

Performing artists are the same as any other human being. They too have hang-ups. They are also imperfect just like the rest of us. But you know the difference between them and us? It's when they go on stage, show their talent that makes them superior in that given time.

I believe that everyone has their talent to show. I also believe that we are all equal regardless of the amount of talent that we have. We only become momentarily superior when we show our talent. When we write, draw, sing, dance, show kindness, listen to others, sacrifice for the sake of others, those are some of the moments we can be superior if not to others then to ourselves. Those are some of the moments that we can be the best that we can be.

Such as the case of Bamboo last Thursday. It was one of the main events of PGH Centennial Celebration. Waiting for them and watching them perform while I was carrying my umbrella, trying to shield myself and my friends from the rain was worth it. I heard their talent fee was over a hundred thou...but then again, it was worth it. They played all of their popular songs.

Last Thursday, PGH employees also showed their talents in dancing, and singing. There was even one doctor who proposed to his girlfriend in between their performance. It was sweet.

I would have wanted to perform also, but then, I had no chance to show my dancing skill if I even have one. :) Anyway, I have observed that our department seemed to have little part in the activities. I wish we could be more active next time.

Anyway, the lesson here is, we should always share our talents with others.

1. I am paranoid when it comes to my health. I may be overweight so others might think that I don't value my health, but I really do. It also scares me a lot to think that others can get sick because of me.
2. I have a very bad temper. And it always puts me in trouble.

Small Ville

I've been absent here for a long time. It would have been short but I blame it on the storm. Anyway, life has been okay. And I found a new addiction.

I am into smallville nowadays. I know the program has been around for a very long time but I only get to appreaciate it now when there are available dvds for the past seasons. I love the songs being played there. Lana is beautiful. And I love how simple their way of living is.

Been away for quite some time. I was actually forced to take a break from the cyberworld. And it's a coincidence that a lot has happened in between.
