One new life is on his way here on earth. A nephew. I hope he's healthy and cute.
I am taking this special course and I hope to get a lot from it.
People in my part of the world are happy and excited. Christmas is definitely in the air because of the music, decorations, and climate.

While they ahve put up lights and some decorations in MAdrid, I still don't feel teh Christmas spirit. Maybe it is becaus eI am linguistically and culturally isolated here. Not sure. In Canada, I would definitely be feeling more Christmassy. (No, I am not complaining - just observing.)

No, I will not be going to Canada for Christmas.
We were considering going to Poland to visit my relatives, but the cost was surprisingly high (not that I could communicate with them anyway - my Polish is far too weak). The hope was to let my kids meet their great-grandmother (the only one they have left, Sofia's died a few weeks ago).
